What is a Digital Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor?
Our fully automatic Digital Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor is an easy-to-use bp monitor ideal for home and medical use. It operates with accurate blood pressure readings and includes an irregular heartbeat detector. Ideal home blood pressure monitor or when you are on the move!
How to use a Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor?
The Digital Blood Pressure Monitor is attached to the cuff, which is placed around your wrist. The bp machine is then activated to automatically inflate the cuff to the right pressure.
The results are displayed on the LCD display screen. The BHS classification displays the systolic blood pressure over the diastolic blood pressure in mmHg, while the WHO scale indicates where on the WHO traffic light scale your blood pressure falls.
Voice Feature
The voice feature reads out your results aloud, making it ideal for visual impaired individuals and elderly.
Who Can Use the Digital Blood Pressure Monitor?
With a straightforward operation, this blood pressure monitor is ideal for anybody. It can be used both at home and by medical professionals and is particularly useful for monitoring blood pressure and detecting irregular heartbeats when you are on the move.
The readings on the LCD display screen are clear and easy to read. This allows you to take your own blood pressure, and then record the information to show your doctor at a later stage.
How Easy Is the Blood Pressure Monitor to Use?
This Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor is easy to use. Once the cuff is in position on your wrist, you can activate the inflation.
Your blood pressure results are displayed on the easy-to-read LCD screen, which you can then write down to show your doctor. The WHO traffic light scale on the left-hand side indicates where on the scale your blood pressure falls.
- Green is normal blood pressure
- Yellow indicates light hypertension or pre-hupertension
- Red suggests middle to heavy hypertension or high blood pressure.
Please contact your GP immediately if your pressure falls into the red scale.
How big is the memory storage?
The Blood Pressure Monitor offers a memory capacity of 199 readings - or two users - with date and time stamps. This allows you to show your readings to your doctor at the touch of a button.
How Is the Blood Pressure Monitor Powered?
This Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor is powered by 2 x AAA batteries. The medical device also features a low battery indicator, as well as an automatic power-off function that turns the device off after three minutes of inactivity. This helps safeguard against the risk of the monitor suddenly losing power.
