The ISU High Flow Bacterial Suction Filter is a replacement filter for the compact and lightweight medical suction machines ISU designed to discretely carry out oral, tracheal or nasal suction.

What is the ISU High Flow Bacterial Suction Filter?

The ISU filter is available for the portable ISU suction pumps. These filters have a working life of approxamitely 4 weeks.

When the filters have been in touch with fluids however, the filter needs to be replaced.

Is this a replacement part for a Hygienic Suction Device?

Several measures have been taken to ensure that the ISU-8 system operates in hygienic conditions when used in a medical contexts. These bacterial filters help protect the internals of the device from becoming contaminated.

The 2L canister supplied is for single patient use only, but can and should be washed in between uses.

It is important not to overfil the cannister, as a rule of thumb it is recommended to empty the cannister when it is half full.
