Osteoporosis Bathroom Aids
The bathroom combines wet floors, low seats and lots of bending, which is why it is a key room to set up when living with osteoporosis. This collection includes raised toilet seats with lids or armrests, toilet surrounds, multifunctional shower chair and over-toilet frames, fixed and flexible grab rails, long-handled combs, pumice foot scrubbers and folding bottom wipers.

Buying guide
- Raising the toilet seat height and adding armrests can reduce strain when sitting and standing.
- Long-handled grooming and washing aids help avoid bending forward and twisting.
- Install grab rails at the toilet and in the shower where the hand naturally reaches.
- Foot scrubbers that sit on the shower floor let you wash feet without bending.
- An occupational therapist can review the bathroom layout and suggest a combination of aids.
