Buying guide

Choose by how much weight the person needs to take through their arms. A stick helps with balance, crutches take weight off one leg, a frame supports both sides, and a rollator helps people walk further with somewhere to sit.

Height adjustment matters for every walking aid. Handles should sit at wrist height with the person standing upright.

After a fall, injury or surgery, ask a physiotherapist to recommend and fit the right aid.

Questions

Which walking aid is most stable?

Generally, a walking frame gives more stability than a stick or rollator, but the right choice depends on the person. Our help-me-choose tool can narrow it down.

Do you provide plan-managed invoices?

Yes. Claim-ready tax invoices are issued for NDIS self-managed and plan-managed participants.

Where do you deliver?

Everywhere in Australia, with the delivery fee quoted before dispatch.
