Care and use
Cold use: before first use, lay the gel pack flat in the freezer for at least two hours. Insert it into the sleeve of the lumbar support and apply for no longer than 20 minutes at a time. Store the gel pack in the freezer for future use.
Hot use: warning, do not overheat and do not exceed 55 seconds. Wrap the gel pack in a paper towel and microwave for 35 seconds, then remove and test the temperature. If you want it warmer, heat for 10 more seconds and test again until the desired temperature is reached. Microwaves do not heat evenly, so knead the pack to spread the heat. Always test the temperature first; if it is too hot, let it cool before use. Place the pack in the sleeve before use.
Caution: do not apply the gel pack directly to skin. Do not use it for longer than 20 minutes at a time. If it becomes uncomfortable during use, remove it immediately.
