Buying guide

  • Positioning and contracture aids are usually recommended by an occupational therapist or physiotherapist, who can advise on wearing time.
  • Choose left or right where specified, and check sizing for hand splints.
  • High-rimmed plates and non-slip bases help with one-handed eating.
  • Look at our kitchen, dressing and bathroom collections for other one-handed aids.
  • Check skin regularly under splints and cushions for redness.
