- Measure the bed frame: single (about 900mm), king single (about 1050mm) and wider sizes are listed on each product.
- Foam mattresses need no power; alternating air systems need a power point near the bed.
- Look for firm side walls if the user transfers from the edge of the bed.
- Waterproof, stretch covers help with continence and reduce friction.
- Confirm the maximum user weight.

Mattress or overlay?
An overlay adds pressure relief to a bed you already have. A full pressure care mattress replaces the existing mattress and suits higher-risk users.
Can I use funding to buy a mattress?
That depends on your plan and goals, so check with your plan manager, support coordinator or funding body before you buy. We supply a tax invoice listing the item and our ABN.
How is it delivered?
Mattresses ship by freight, foam models often vacuum-packed. We deliver Australia-wide and quote the delivery fee before dispatch.
