The Lotus helps a person stand up and be moved short distances – bed to commode, chair to wheelchair – using their own arms and legs rather than being lifted. The user pulls up on the frame, the knee supports brace their legs, and rotating seat flaps swing in to support them seated for the move. It is compact enough for a bedroom and keeps the user active in every transfer.

Who it suits
People with impaired balance and reduced leg strength who still have some arm strength and can bear weight through their legs, with a standing height between roughly 1.30m and 1.65m. It is not a hoist – a person who cannot weight-bear at all needs a full lifter.
