Buying guide
- Measure the floor of your shower or bath and choose a mat that covers the area where you stand without curling up the sides.
- Suction mats grip most firmly on smooth, non-textured surfaces. Check your bath or tray finish before buying.
- Clean and dry mats regularly so suction cups stay effective and mould does not build up.
- A mat works well alongside a shower chair and grab rail rather than replacing them.

Will a suction mat stick to textured tiles?
Suction cups need a smooth surface to grip. On textured tiles, a rubber-backed floor mat may suit better.
