Bathroom Grab Rails
Grab rails give a firm handhold where people most often lose balance: stepping into the shower, sitting on the toilet and getting up from the bath. This range covers straight stainless steel rails in 25 mm and 32 mm diameters, angled and L-shaped toilet rails, drop-down rails that fold out of the way, and rails with built-in toilet roll holders.

Buying guide
- Plan where the hand naturally reaches during the movement, not just where there is space on the wall.
- Fixed rails must be installed into studs, noggins or solid masonry with suitable fixings. We recommend a qualified installer.
- Larger diameters are easier to grip for some hands; smaller diameters suit others. If grip is weak, try both sizes on a similar rail first.
- A drop-down rail beside the toilet is useful where a fixed rail would block a wheelchair or carer.
- For complex layouts, an occupational therapist can mark the rail positions.
Questions
Can I install grab rails myself?
Grab rails carry body weight, so they must be fixed into structural support. Unless you are confident with wall construction, use a qualified installer.
Are grab rails covered by NDIS?
Many participants buy rails as low-cost assistive technology. We provide claim-ready tax invoices for self-managed and plan-managed participants. Check with your plan manager first.
What is your return policy?
Unused rails in original packaging can be returned within 14 days, less a 25% restocking fee.
