Key benefits
- Bathroom Grab rail
- Large suction cups for superior hold
- Easy to install and remove without any tools needed
- Compact design, perfect for travel too
This Portable Grab Bar by Bridge Medical offers you extra stability when entering or exiting the shower or bath tub.
Easy to instal or remove with locking latches that secure the grab rail in place, providing a secure grip on most smooth surfaces. Ideal for bathrooms, showers, and toilets or travel or rental properties.
The strong suction cups provide reliable support when standing, walking, or moving around wet surfaces, reducing the risk of slips and falls. No drilling, no wall damage.
What is the Portable Grab Bar?
The Portable Grab Bar from Bridge Medical is a flexible bathroom safety handle that will assist adults and toddlers that need some extra help getting in or out of the tub or shower without slipping.
The grab rail is quickly and easily installed on tiled or marble surfaces without tools. No holes to drill. This also makes it great for travelling as it has a quick and easy release system. The device has large rubber suction cups that provide superior adhesion properties.
High-Quality Safety Rail
The Portable Grab Bar from Bridge Medical has been manufactured using the highest quality rubber and have been tested and approved by health professionals. They provide a very strong and safe hold from any non-porous flat surface, keeping the rail attached to the wall. The rails are a versatile addition for the elderly, disabled, those with limited mobility or recovering from an injury that needs some extra assistance in slippery areas. The textured rubber gives a comfortable non-slip grip. The space of the grip between the wall and the rail is a generous 8.25 cm leaving ample room for fingers to grasp the handle securely.
The grab bar is ideal for use on a shower wall, in the bath mounted on the tub, for use as a temporary towel bar, near a chair or stairwell for assistance when standing or climbing stairs.
Installation of the Shower Handle Bar
To install the bathroom safety device, you don’t need any tools: simply press the grab rail in the bathroom or shower wall and secure the lock in place with the latches. Thanks to the ultra-strong suction cups, they will attach to any non-porous, flat surface without damaging the underground.
It can be secured on many surfaces such as tiles, glass, acrylic or metal. If you need to reposition the grab rail, just lift the latch. It will not harm the surface or leave any marks behind. It can be mounted at any angle by following these steps. First: Clean the surface area. Then press the suction cups into place. And finally, flip down the locking latches.
On a smooth, flat surface, the suction vacuum will hold for a very long time – sometimes even months. But, because all surfaces have a different porosity, Ability Warehouse advises you to remove and reset your Portable Grab Bar every few weeks to ensure a secure hold.
The Flexible Grab Bar from Bridge Medical is available in 3 options: standard single grip, the telescoping handle designed for 10 x 10 cm tiles and the telescoping rail. The last two options offer a telescoping handle to lengthen or shorten the rail as necessary to adjust to the specific needs of the user.
