Buying guide

Think about the whole day: how the person moves around the house, how they get in and out of bed, chairs and the car, and how long they sit at a time. Products that help with transfers are often as important as the chair itself.

Measure seat width, depth and height needs, as well as doorways, hallways and car boot space. Always check the user weight rating.

Pressure care is important for anyone sitting for long periods. An occupational therapist can recommend cushions and seating that suit the person.

Questions

Can I get help choosing a wheelchair?

Call us on 0488 863 626, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. For complex needs, an occupational therapist assessment is recommended.

What about NDIS quotes?

Items under $1,500 are usually low-cost assistive technology and can often be bought without a quote. Higher-cost items may need one, so check with your plan manager.

Is there a warranty?

Yes, an Australian warranty handled locally, with a minimum of 12 months per our warranty page.
