The Push Sports Ankle Brace 8 is an ankle wrap that provides firm support to help you return to sport after an ankle ligament injury or manage an unstable joint. A figure of eight strap design applies comfortable compressive pressure around the ankle while leaving the instep and forefoot free to perform. Athletes recovering from a sprain or preventing recurring ankle injury can wear the Push Sports Ankle Brace 8 during training or competition. The thin breathable material fits inside most sports shoes.

What is the Ankle Brace 8 by Push Sports?

The Ankle Brace 8 by Push Sports offers ankle support - through compression - in case of light ankle injuries. The ultra-thin ankle brace stabilises the ankle using a strap wrapped around the ankle in the shape of an 8, which offers firm and comfortable compression.

When should you use the Ankle Brace 8?

This ankle wrap is very suitable to apply during sports activities and can reduce recurring ankle injuries such as:

  • Mild ankle distortion
  • Capsule irritation
  • Mild ankle instability
  • Ankle sprain or strain

How do you apply the ankle brace?

  • Put on the brace. The heel section of the brace needs to fit snugly around the heel.
  • Pull your foot towards you, such that the foot is positioned at a 90 °angle. Then tighten and fasten the top portion of the brace.
  • Take the broad elastic strap and wrap it around the back of the lower leg to the front, diagonally across the instep; then pass it underneath the foot and along the outside of the foot towards the inside of the ankle.
  • You effectively create a figure 8. Fasten the strap with the hook and loop material.
