The Push Med Ankle Brace is a protective ankle support designed to help with ankle stability and prevent sprains and twists through comfortable compression. How does this ASO Ankle Brace work?

The ASO Ankle Brace by Push Med works on the principle of functional taping by applying pressure and limiting over and under extension. It replaces sports tape with elastic straps to create the compression and support needed. The benefit of this Ankle support is that the degree of compression is adjustable to be able to regulate the pressure continuously.

The brace consists of a comfortable sleeve made from the breathable material Sympress. It includes 'comfort zones' around vulnerable areas of the ankle such as the Achilles’ tendon. A series of straps enclose the ankle joint with a compression wrap. The Ankle Brace has a wide instep and an integrated heel-lock making it easy to apply and comfortable to wear.

The degree of compression is adjustable while the ankle support stays in place with the help of innovative silicone strips.

The functional strap of the ASO Ankle Brace can be easily adjusted depending on the level of swelling in the acute or sub-acute phase. The use of flexible materials guarantees optimal fit and comfort for the user.

As a result, the inversion and eversion movement is properly restricted, while allowing adequate freedom of plantar/dorsal flexion. The Ankle Brace by Push Medis available in 5 sizes with a choice of right or left foot. Measure the ankle circumference from the base of the heel to the dorsal ankle crease as shown in the image below and select the appropriate size.
