The sleeping wedges offer unbeatable protection against falling. The two pairs of wedges are attached to a draw sheet with hook and loop strips to hold the wedges in place. Suitable for any type of single bed.

What are Bed Side Wedges?

The Bed Side Wedges set from Pelican is a perfect alternative for a traditional bed rail. It is designed to reduce the risk of the sleeper from rolling or falling out of bed. These side wedge pillows help keep the individual comfortably positioned in bed, while stopping them from slipping out of bed.

The high-density foam-filled wedges are provided as a set of 2, and include a breathable connecting sheet that joins the wedges together with a hook-and-loop strip.

The wedges are made from high-density foam and can be removed from their ‘sleeve’ when coming in or out of bed. The bedside wedges set has a draw sheet and two built-in straps that secure the wedge set to the bed. The set is suitable for any type of single bed.

The cotton draw sheet can easily be machine washed.

How does the bedside wedges set keep patients safe?

The two wedges – for each side of the body - are firmly attached to a draw sheet with hook and loop strips. The sheet is held in place underneath the mattress with durable straps. The foam sides will remain in place securely during sleep.
