What is the Neurotrac Tehab Tens and NMES?

The NeuroTrac Rehab TENS and NMES is a unique treatment to effectively manage pain, prevent muscle wastage and help with muscle rehabilitation. This dual channel electro-stimulator combines TENS and NMES functions. What is TENS and NMES?

TENS stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation and provides a non-invasive, drug-free method to control long-term pain. The mild electrical impulses are transmitted via electrodes through the skin to change the pain perception. TENS does not cure the physiological condition; it only helps to control the pain perception.

Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) or STIM has been used for many years to stimulate muscle and nerve fibres to treat muscle or nerve conditions.
