The Food Guard is a flexible white clip-on plate surround that can be fitted to ordinary plates to assist with eating. This handy plate guard prevents food from accidentally being pushed off the plate while eating.

Three clips attach it to the rim of the plate and create a high inward sloping wall to help with food collection and prevent spillage.

What is the Food Guard?

The Food Guard is a flexible white clip-on eating aid that can be fitted to ordinary plates to assist with eating.

This assistive plate guard prevents food from accidentally being pushed off the plate while eating, Three clips attach it to the rim of the plate and create a high inward sloping wall to help with food collection and prevent spillage.

The Food Guard has been designed to make dining a much easier experience for children, elderly, those with limited hand mobility or those who only have use of one hand. It fits tightly around the rim of any circular plate between 19cm and 25cm in diameter. It is curved slightly inwards to prevent food from falling off the plate.

The surround can also be used as a barrier to push food against when scooping food onto a spoon or fork, which is ideal for those with limited hand or arm motion.

It is also available in clear plastic.
