The Telescoping Portable Grab Bar for 10x10cm tiles from Bridge Medical is an extendable bathroom grab rail handle for those needing extra assistance getting in and out of the bathtub or a shower.

Flexible Telescoping Portable Grab Bar - Bridge Medical
The Telescoping Portable Grab Bar from Bridge Medical is an extendable safety handle in the bathroom for those needing extra assistance getting in and out of the bathtub or a shower. This handle is specifically designed to adapt to tiles of 10 x 10 cm (4") or larger. The rail is a versatile addition for the elderly, disabled, those with limited mobility or recovering from an injury that needs some extra assistance in slippery areas.
The bathroom is considered one of the most dangerous places in the house for slips and falls. Improving bathroom safety will help you to stay out of harm's way. By installing the Portable Grab Bar in strategic positions in the shower or around the bathtub, you can prevent most of these falls and slips.
High-Quality Safety Rail in the Bathroom
The Telescoping Portable Grab Bar for 10 x 10cm (4") tiles from Bridge Medical has been manufactured using the highest quality rubber. It has been tested and approved by healthcare professionals. The telescoping handle allows for a longer hand-holding area, making it even safer.
The grab rail provides a very strong and safe hold from any non-porous flat surface, supporting 100 kg of pull pressure. The Suction cups keep the rail attached to the wall safely. The textured rubber gives a comfortable non-slip grip. The space of the grip between the wall and the rail is a generous 8.25 cm leaving ample room for fingers to grasp the handle securely.
Installation
To install the bathroom device, you don’t need any tools: simply press the grab rail in the bathroom or shower wall and secure the lock in place with the latches. Thanks to the ultra-strong suction cups, it will attach on any non-porous, flat surface without damaging the underground. It can be secured on many surfaces such as tiles, glass, acrylic or metal.
If you need to reposition the grab rail, just lift the latch. It will not harm the surface or leave any marks behind.
It can be mounted at any angle by following these steps. First: Clean the surface area and the suction cups. Then press the suction cups into place. And finally, flip down the locking latches. Make sure the suction cups are not installed on the seams of the tiles! If the tiles are porous or have a slight texture, the suction will not work, unfortunately.
On a smooth, flat surface, the suction vacuum will hold for a very long time – sometimes even months. But, because all surfaces have a different porosity, we advise you to remove and reset your Telescoping Portable Grab Bar for tiles every few weeks to ensure a secure hold.
The Portable Grab Bar from Bridge Medical is available in 3 options:
standard single grip, the telescoping handle designed for 10 x 10 cm tiles and the telescoping rail. This last model also offers a telescoping handle to lengthen or shorten the rail to adjust to your needs. You will find the other two handles in the same section of the Ability Warehouse segment.
